Fletching hit the headlines in September 98 with their first foray into Mid Sussex League action after reforming. The picture below was taken on The Archers first ever home league fixture and there are many a recognisable face, including a fourteen year old looking Michael Duff, a young Mike Cronin (hiding the anguish of the cramp he got in the warm up!) and Greg Roberts, a much thinner looking Jamie Funnell and yes believe it or not that is Sol in the front row. Ross Davidson and Mark Hill were absent that day as was Bradders, so I think we must have gone on to win that one!!
